Vendors and bargain hunters mark your calendars for Saturday, September 27 when the Family Arena parking lot becomes a thrifty shopper’s paradise at the Second Annual St. Charles County Garage Sale. The sale takes place, rain or shine; 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Entry fee for shoppers is $5 per car.
Vendors are encouraged to register early. Vendors interested in selling must register for a sale space of two parking spaces (approx 18’ x 19’). Space is available first-come, first-served upon receipt of a qualified registration. To reserve your spot today, download a registration form from the Family Arena website www.familyarena.com. Vendor space is free of charge to county residents. A fee of $20 applies for non-county resident vendors. Electricity is not provided. Items prohibited from sale include, but are not limited to: guns, contraband, automobiles, fireworks, food/beverage, tires, and animals. Vendor setup begins at 6:00 a.m. on the day of the sale.
The sale also offers a unique opportunity for environmental stewardship. Not only can residents enjoy a summer day and shop for hours without driving from sale to sale, but each household item purchased encourages reuse and reduces waste that may otherwise end up in landfills. |
