Dogs of Society: A Tribute to Elton John
Dogs of Society puts on an energetic rock show perfect for all ages and events. Led by John Gore’s “spot-on” vocals, The Dogs deliver a rockin’ musical experience more faithful to the spirit of the classic Elton John recordings, rather than a flamboyant imitation. Featuring a killer lineup of accomplished musicians including John Gore, Steve Johnston, Shannon Bengford, Curt Shaw and Dave Johnson, the seasoned pros of Dogs of Society can often be found playing shows throughout the Midwest.
Inspired by Elton John from the earliest years, John Gore knew piano was the instrument for him. Elton’s soaring melodies and trippy lyrics led John to form Dogs of Society in 2012. The Dogs have built on each gig, expanding their loyal fan base over the years. The band recently played to a standing-room only crowd at the Grand Opening Party for Cardinal great Jim Edmonds’ The Precinct Sports Bar & Grill. And the 300+ sellout crowd at The Wildey Theatre was on their feet from the opening notes of “The Bitch is Back” to the raucous closer “Funeral for a Friend/Loves Lies Bleeding” 2½ hours later. With the broad appeal of Elton John’s well-loved catalog of hits, Dogs of Society is sure to rock any venue.
Silver Bullet STL: A Tribute to Bob Seger
An 8-piece tribute hauntingly sung by Steve Tinnon, whose voice is uncannily reminiscent of Bob Seger. The members of several great St. Louis based bands have come together to form Silver Bullet; a tribute to the great Bob Seger and his music. From the 60’s to the pesent day, the history of Blue-Collar America has been a written with the music of Bob Seger as a backdrop.
