Areas of Responsibility

  • Preparation of all food items necessary for events and functions.
  • Overall maintenance of kitchen and Sport’s Bar.
  • Ongoing communication with Director and Purchasing Manager to ensure proper inventory levels.
  • Controlling of food and labor costs to stay within budgetary limits.
  • Write prep lists for kitchen staff.
  • Assist in scheduling of kitchen staff.
  • Assist in monthly and bi-monthly inventories.
  • Ensure employee adherence to policies described in employee handbook.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.

Qualifications

Must possess strong culinary and knife-handling skills. Able to work well with others as a team. Knowledgeable of safety and sanitation policies. Must have a keen eye for detail and the highest standards for food quality and presentation. Limited computer knowledge, flexibility, and communication skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure.
