St. Louis Ambush vs. Kansas City Comets
The Kansas City Comets and St. Louis Ambush will confine their battle to the State of Missouri beginning in Independence at Cable Dahmer Arena on Friday, March 26 at 7:05 pm CST. The teams will head down I-70 for Game 2 at the Family Arena on Sunday, March 28 at 3:05 pm CST. If the teams are tied at a game apiece, they will play a 15-minute mini-game following Game 2.
Due to a fluid situation involving the COVID-19 pandemic, including travel restrictions, arena availability, and fan safety, long-term scheduling for the 2021 season was nearly impossible, stated Shelly Clark, Ambush CEO and co-owner. The league announced earlier today that they anticipate announcing schedules on a month-to-month basis going forward with the goal of releasing an extended schedule further into the season if circumstances permit.
The MASL announced in early December that 11 clubs intended to participate in a modified 2021 regular season: Baltimore, Dallas, Florida, Harrisburg, Kansas City, Ontario, Rochester, San Diego, St. Louis, Tacoma, and Utica. Also previously announced, Mesquite, Milwaukee, Monterrey, Sonora, and Turlock will sit out the upcoming campaign due to restrictions related to the COVID-19 pandemic. These teams remain active members in good standing in the MASL.
Every round and game of the playoff schedule is subject to change due to COVID protocols or where MASL Commissioner Joshua Schaub finds changes necessary in the best interest of the League.
While fans who purchased the MASL Season Pass will have the playoffs included in their package, fans without that package can view every playoff game live and archived with the MASL Playoff Pass. For only $39.99 it lowers the price per game to just $3.33 as opposed to the $7.99 single-game pricing. You can get the Playoff Pass here – https://www.facebook.com/MASLsoccer/events.
