Don’t miss an evening of yacht rock classics as Sail On docks at The Family Arena on Saturday, October 15, 2022. It’ll be hit-after-hit-after-hit as Firefall, Pablo Cruise, Orleans, Walter Egan, and Peter Beckett from Player share the stage for one unforgettable evening.
FIREFALL is a group of exceptional musicians and singers, with a repertoire of recognizable songs few bands can match. Their many hits – You Are The Woman, Just Remember I Love You, Strange Way, Cinderella, Mexico, Livin’ Ain’t Livin’, So Long, Goodbye I Love You, Sweet and Sour and others – are faithfully recreated with a freshness rare in live performances of such classics.
ORLEANS is best known as the Pop/Rock band that brought you the classic 70s hits Still The One, Dance With Me and Love Takes Time. Co-founders Lance Hoppen and John Hall, along with long-standing member Lane Hoppen and relative newcomers Brady Spencer and Tom Lane deliver Orleans’ music with power, class, and integrity to appreciative audiences everywhere.
One of the world’s most beloved classic-rock bands, The Babys, are back together after a 30-something year layover! With a string of ‘70s and ’80s classic rock radio hits like “Isn’t It Time,” “Every Time I Think of You,” “Back on My Feet Again,” “Head First”, “Midnight Rendezvous”, and so many more, The Babys created some of the most memorable arena anthems of their era. The shows are jam packed with material that has entire audiences on their feet – singing and dancing to every tune.
There are songs you hear in your life that transport you to a certain time period or give you a special feeling. You associate those good times to the group that made them famous. Songs like “I’d Really Love To See You Tonigh t,” “Nights Are Forever Without You” and “Love Is The Answer” have that kind of effect on people. Those songs and numerous others have made John Ford Coley a singing legend.
WALTER EGAN is a musician, singer, composer, writer, artist, sculptor, and general Renaissance man who is most widely known for his 1978 million-selling single record, Magnet and Steel, featured on his album “Not Shy.”
PETER BECKETT is perhaps best known as the singer and guitarist of the soft rock band PLAYER. The revival of “Yacht Rock” featuring the smooth rock of the ‘70s and ‘80s has been steadily growing and Baby Come Back is listed as one of the top ten “Yacht Rock” songs of all time.
