SUMMARY:Sometimes A Fantasy: A Tribute to Billy Joel
DESCRIPTION:Two of St. Louis’s favorite tribute acts share the stage for one unforgettable night\, taking you from the Cavern Club to Studio 54 and everywhere in between. Whether you grew up spinning “Abbey Road” on vinyl or belting out “Piano Man” at the top of your lungs\, this is a show built for singing along\, reliving the decades\, and celebrating two of the most iconic songbooks in music history — live\, loud\, and under one roof at The Family Arena. \nSometimes A Fantasy: A Tribute to Billy Joel \nSince forming\, Sometimes A Fantasy has become one of the region’s premier tribute acts\, built by seasoned St. Louis musicians who grew up on the Piano Man’s songbook. Fronted by pianist and vocalist Billy Walkenhorst — whose very first song at the keys was Joel’s “Vienna” — the band brings together decades of stage experience\, including members who’ve played with acts like Hotwire\, Breach of Peace\, and a 26-year Air Force bands veteran on sax. Together they deliver a note-for-note journey through Billy Joel’s biggest hits\, from the bar-room storytelling of “Piano Man” to the stadium-sized energy of “Uptown Girl” — a tribute built by musicians for whom this music has always been personal. \n \nBeyond The Mania: A Tribute to The Beatles \nMissouri’s youngest top Beatles tribute band brings the energy\, harmonies\, and history of the Fab Four to life — from the raw\, cavern-club rock and roll that started it all to the studio-era masterpieces of their later touring years. Beyond The Mania captures the sound and spirit of Beatlemania for a new generation of fans\, delivering the hits that changed music forever with the kind of youthful energy that made Liverpool’s favorite sons a global phenomenon in the first place. \n \n\nHAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT A SUITE? \nLooking for a way to enjoy the show without fighting the crowd.
