Starship featuring Mickey Thomas

// November 15 @ 6:00 pm - 11:00 pm

Get ready to rock and relive the greatest hits of the ’70s and ’80s! On Saturday, November 15, The Family Arena will host an unforgettable night of classic rock featuring Starship with Mickey Thomas, joined by special guests John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band, Shooting Star, and Missouri. This is a night no classic rock fan will want to miss!

Mickey Thomas has been a vocal powerhouse since the 1970s, making his mark with the Elvin Bishop Band and iconic hit “Fooled Around and Fell in Love.” When he joined Jefferson Starship in 1979, Mickey propelled the group into an era of massive success. Renamed Starship in 1985, the band released chart-toppers like “We Built This City,” “Sara,” and “Nothing’s Gonna Stop Us Now,” the latter featured in the hit movie Mannequin.

Expect a high-energy show packed with Starship’s greatest hits, alongside classics from Jefferson Starship and even a nod to Jefferson Airplane. Mickey’s soaring voice, immortalized through MTV staples, promises a performance packed with nostalgia and show-stopping vocals.

John Cafferty & The Beaver Brown Band brings their high-octane energy to the stage with hits like “On The Dark Side,” which dominated the Billboard Rock charts and MTV for weeks in the ’80s. Fans can also expect to hear hits from the acclaimed Eddie & The Cruisers movie soundtrack and their “Tough All Over” album. If you grew up jamming to their unforgettable hooks, this is your chance to experience them live.

Celebrating over 40 years of making music, Shooting Star continues to shine bright. With classics like “Last Chance” and “Bring It On,” their legacy of heartfelt rock lives on, even after losing founding member Van McLain in 2018. Come join them as they carry forward the spirit of Van’s timeless songs.

Born in the heart of the Midwest, Missouri brings raw rock energy that dominated airwaves and concert stages in the late ’70s. Known for tracks from their self-titled debut album, they’ve shared stages with legendary acts like Ted Nugent, Rush, Van Halen, and Jefferson Starship. For fans of true rock grit, this is a can’t-miss performance.
