Born in Rochester, New York, Lou Gramm is best known as the powerful voice behind Foreigner, one of the most successful rock bands of the late 1970s and 1980s. Gramm’s vocals brought life to iconic hits like “Hot Blooded,” “Juke Box Hero,” “Cold as Ice,” and the global chart-topper “I Want to Know What Love Is.”

Gramm’s career began with the band Black Sheep before he joined forces with Mick Jones to form Foreigner. As the band’s lead vocalist and co-writer, Gramm helped Foreigner achieve massive success, with multiple platinum albums and a string of Top 10 hits. His solo career also flourished, producing hits like “Midnight Blue” and “Just Between You and Me.” A member of the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Gramm’s contributions to rock music have left an enduring legacy.

John Waite’s career spans more than four decades, showcasing his versatility as a rock artist. As the lead singer of The Babys, Waite delivered hits like “Isn’t It Time” and “Every Time I Think of You.” His solo career took off with the release of “Missing You,” a #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 that remains a timeless classic.

Waite also fronted the supergroup Bad English, whose ballad “When I See You Smile” became a massive hit. Known for his soulful voice and dynamic performances, Waite continues to connect with audiences through his blend of rock, blues, and acoustic music.
