Areas of Responsibility

  • Preparation of sauces, dressings and other food items necessary for all events.
  • Proper rotation of food to ensure freshness and quality.
  • Following all recipes and menu item specifications. Recipe books and spec books are located in the Chef’s office.
  • Complete all tasks and prep lists in allotted time.
  • Maintain an organized clean and safe work area at all times, as described in the employee handbook.
  • Question anything that may be unclear to you.
  • Limit waste and spoilage by on-going communication with other areas of the concession stand.
  • Adherence to all policies and guidelines as described in the Family Arena handbook.
  • Assume responsibility for nay duty asked of you by any member of Management or other supervisor.
  • Overall maintenance of kitchen and other work areas.
  • Learn at least one thing every shift.

Qualifications

Must possess strong culinary and knife-handling skills. Able to work well with others as a team. Knowledgeable of safety and sanitation policies. Must have a keen eye for detail and the highest standards for food quality and presentation.
