The Family Arena is proud to announce that two of country music’s most beloved legends will share its stage on December 17, 2026, for an unforgettable holiday evening. The Country & Christmas tour brings together The Gatlin Brothers and Crystal Gayle — each performing their own full set of greatest hits alongside a selection of timeless Christmas music.
The Gatlin Brothers — A Farewell to Remember
Larry, Steve, and Rudy Gatlin have been dazzling audiences for seven decades, and this December 17th performance is part of their farewell tour — a bittersweet opportunity for fans to celebrate a career that stands among the most decorated in country music history. Grammy Award winners and recipients of three ACM Awards — including Single of the Year for “All the Gold in California,” Album of the Year for Straight Ahead, and Male Vocalist of the Year — the Gatlins have amassed 7 #1 singles, 32 Top 40 records, and 24 studio albums. Their signature songs, including “Broken Lady,” “Houston (Means I’m One Day Closer to You),” “I Don’t Wanna Cry,” and “All the Gold in California,” have become permanent fixtures of the American country songbook.
Beyond their performing legacy, Larry Gatlin ranks 4th on Billboard’s top 40 self-penned hits and has had his compositions recorded by Elvis Presley, Barbra Streisand, Johnny Cash, and Roy Orbison, among many others. Most recently inducted into the Nashville Songwriter Hall of Fame, Larry’s legacy as one of BMI’s top solo songwriters is secure. For fans who have followed the brothers from Abilene, Texas to Carnegie Hall to the Grand Ole Opry, the Country & Christmas stop in St. Charles offers a rare and meaningful chance to say farewell in person.
Crystal Gayle — An Icon in Full Voice
Joining the Gatlins is the incomparable Crystal Gayle, whose career has spanned hit records, Hollywood honors, and a place enshrined in the very fabric of American popular music. A member of the Grand Ole Opry — inducted in January 2017 by her sister Loretta Lynn — Crystal has charted over 20 #1 hits and accumulated 35 top-10 country singles, 13 of which crossed over to pop and adult contemporary audiences. Her timeless signature song “Don’t It Make My Brown Eyes Blue” remains one of the most recognized recordings in country music history, joined by beloved hits including “You’ve Been Talking in Your Sleep,” “When I Dream,” “Half the Way,” and her duet with Eddie Rabbitt, “Just You and I.”
Crystal has been honored by the Grammy Awards, the CMA, the ACM, and the American Music Awards throughout her storied career. In 2009, she received her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and that same year was inducted into the Christian Music Hall of Fame. The Academy of Country Music presented her with the 2016 Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award for her lifetime achievements. Crystal recently released her new album You Don’t Know Me, a deeply personal collection of classic country songs that shaped her early life and career. On the Country & Christmas tour, fans can expect Crystal’s warm, wide-ranging voice to bring both her greatest hits and beloved holiday favorites to brilliant life.
A Holiday Night to Remember
Together, The Gatlin Brothers and Crystal Gayle represent an extraordinary breadth of country music history — from gospel-rooted harmonies to crossover pop brilliance. The Country & Christmas concert at The Family Arena promises an evening of nostalgia, celebration, and seasonal joy.
